March Lecture Dinners
March 21st : "Ancient Alien Astronauts?"
Did extra-terrestrials, aliens from the depths of space, visit our planet in the past?
The lecture examines this phenomenon, and focuses on determining fact from fiction.
April 4th: "Texas Rangers"
The lecture covers the exciting history of the famous organization,
with a focus on several rangers whose exploits have made them legends.
April 18th: "Ghost Stories"
Over the centuries there have been stories that have mystified, and frightened us.
This lecture presentation features many tales of supernatural events.
May 2nd: "Grand Tour of Egypt"
This slide-show lecture covers the speaker's comprehensive tour of Egypt just prior to the recent revolution.
The presentation includes a visit to Mt. Sinai, a Nile cruise, Alexandria, the Great Pyramids, and the temples
of Isis, Hathor, Luxor, Karnak, and Abu Simbel, and many other historic locations.
May 16th: "The Gold Rush"
In 1848 gold was found at Sutter’s Mill, in Coloma, California. When word of the discovery spread,
people poured into the state. This slide-show lecture tells the story of those years of discovery and adventure.

Daughters Cafe is located on the corner of First and Bell Streets in the Downtown Truckee River District of Reno, Nevada. We opened our doors on June 7, 2007 and have loved (nearly!) every minute of sharing our food with our guests.
Tuesday through Sunday, 9 a.m. until 2 p.m., Dinner Friday.
